Warburtons experience

We were very lucky to have Warburtons the bread people visit our school and run a workshop for our year group.  We learnt about how bread is made and where the ingredients come from!  It was very exciting! We then learnt about healthy eating and good fats and sugars as well as how much our body needs for making energy. It was really exciting to learn the rules of hygiene and so we followed the regime they use at the factory and got ready to make our own sandwiches.
We had to wear aprons and hair nets, we then made our sandwiches, it was so much fun and educational as we learned about portion sizes and proteins, carbohydrates and our five a day. Mrs Sangha thought it we'd b nice for us to meet our parents wearing our hair nets,  the look on their faces were priceless n funny!  We even got goody bags to take home!  Look at our pictures and see for unself the fun we had.
